Position Summary: We are seeking a Systems Technologist or Engineer, Computer Science Specialist, Software Engineer, or Systems Analyst in telecommunications to coordinate, design, and advise on telecommunications systems and networks. Key Responsibilities: 1. Coordination and management of telecommunications systems maintenance. 2. Research and advisory services on telecommunications technology and equipment. 3. Design of communication networks (cable, fiber optic, wireless). Required: Systems Technologist or Engineer, Computer Science Specialist, Software Engineer, or Systems Analyst in telecommunications with a minimum of 24 months of experience. Functions: - Coordinate, organize, and manage the maintenance and repair of telecommunications systems, motors, and equipment. - Conduct research and provide advisory services on telecommunications systems, technology, and equipment. - Plan and design communication networks based on transmission media including cable, fiber optic, and wireless. - Provide technical communications expertise regarding business intelligence information to support decision-making. - Design telecommunications networks and radio and television distribution systems, including both cable and over-the-air transmission systems. - Advise on, develop, and analyze operation and maintenance manuals for telecommunications systems. - Locate and investigate the root causes of failures in telecommunications systems and equipment, and correct deficiencies.
