Job Summary: We are seeking a kitchen apprentice to assist in the preparation and handling of food, cleaning of utensils, and organization of supplies, following safety and hygiene protocols. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate in the preparation of food and beverages. 2. Maintain hygiene and order in the kitchen area. 3. Support cooks and chefs in various culinary tasks. Skills: assertive communication, interpersonal relationships, teamwork, service orientation, equipment selection, time management, following instructions. Responsibilities: 1. Organize raw materials, products, and supplies in refrigerators, cabinets, and other storage areas according to food and beverage preservation and handling protocols. 2. Wash dishes, plates, and kitchen utensils, return them to their designated places, and set them up for service. 3. Clean, sanitize, and disinfect equipment, kitchens, facilities, food preparation and service areas according to technical procedures. 4. Unpack, prepare, weigh, and verify supplies; place them in containers and store them in refrigerators, cabinets, and other storage areas according to technical procedures. 5. Classify, separate, and supply products, supplies, and ingredients for food and beverage preparation according to cleaning and disinfection protocols. 6. Measure, moisten, and mix ingredients in mixing machines, grinders, tanks, hoppers, among others. 7. Assist cooks and chefs with activities such as washing, peeling, chopping, cutting, measuring, mixing, toasting, and heating ingredients related to food preparation. 8. Perform related duties. Education Level: Student pursuing a Technical Program in Culinary Arts. Experience: Not required. Contract Type: Apprenticeship. Salary: 1 Minimum Monthly Legal Wage (SMMLV) plus social benefits.
