Position Summary: We are seeking a Clinical Laboratory Assistant for VIVA 1A IPS, responsible for sample collection, preparation, verification, and dispatch, ensuring appropriate service delivery under supervision. On this occasion, we have a job opportunity with VIVA 1A IPS, who are seeking a Clinical Laboratory Assistant to join their team. The selected candidate will be responsible for sample collection, preparation, verification, packaging, and dispatch, complying with current legal regulations and company-established guidelines, executing all sample collection activities described in documented procedures under the supervision of the bacteriologist, thereby ensuring appropriate service delivery. Responsibilities: • Adhere to work shift schedules and arrive punctually. • Verify medical order content against system entry and update the database accordingly. • Support laboratory test billing processes and deliver daily billing reports to the administrative assistant at the site. • Provide users with an informational slip indicating the date of result delivery and inform them of various ways to access the website as indicated on the flyer, directly at the site, and during medical consultations. • Enter all necessary pre-analytical information for clinical correlation of results, as well as patient and family contact details where applicable. • Sort, classify, and organize samples for dispatch to reference laboratories and the LCP. • Verify that classified samples match those listed on worklists and/or dispatch lists, ensuring totals align with the worklist. • Follow the established venipuncture protocol, applying proper asepsis to the patient's sampling site to prevent disease transmission. • Perform inventory color-coding of supplies per institutional documentation, verifying device expiration dates monthly and recording them daily in the Kardex. • Package samples according to the Biological Sample Packaging Procedure. • Include samples collected in the cytology area by completing the reception form. Requirements: • Clinical Laboratory Technician or Nursing Assistant Technician • Minimum 1 year of experience in venipuncture, special sample collection, patient registration, and office software usage. • Course or certification in clinical laboratory practice and/or laboratory sample collection. Salary: $1,313,179 base + statutory benefits + $249,095 transportation allowance.
