Job Summary: We are seeking a Logistics Assistant to plan, coordinate, and monitor transportation and dispatch operations, managing fleets and personnel in the Valle del Cauca region. Key Responsibilities: 1. Transport route coordination and optimization. 2. Satellite fleet monitoring and delivery management. 3. Transport personnel supervision and control. Company located on La Vía Candelaria is seeking a Logistics Assistant Required Profile: Education: Professional, Technologist, or Technician degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. Experience: Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in logistics processes, carrier management, and use of transportation platforms. Tools: Proficiency in computer tools and intermediate-level Excel (data control and reporting). Main Functions and Responsibilities: Scheduling and Dispatches: Plan and coordinate daily scheduling for 1 to 25 vehicles, ensuring efficient cargo allocation and route optimization across the Valle del Cauca region. Satellite Monitoring: Conduct continuous, real-time fleet tracking via GPS systems, ensuring on-time delivery compliance and reporting incidents en route. Operations Control: Supervise, control, and track transport personnel (drivers/assistants), verifying adherence to routes, loading procedures, and safety protocols. Platform Management: Administer logistics transportation platforms, travel legalization, and direct communication with external or internal carriers.
