




Job Summary: We are seeking a mechanical engineer to supervise repair, fabrication, and restoration work on metallic and structural components of railway vehicles. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervision and coordination of metal-mechanical processes for railway vehicles. 2. Ensuring compliance with quality and industrial safety standards. 3. Technical and operational leadership in engineering projects. A company specializing in executing construction contracts, infrastructure maintenance, supply of spare parts, and equipment repair for engineering projects requires a Mechanical Engineer with two years of experience in metal-mechanical works. Required education level: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Job Responsibilities and/or Functions: supervise repair, fabrication, and restoration work on metallic and structural components of freight railway vehicles, verify compliance with drawings, technical specifications, welding procedures, and project-established quality standards, coordinate cutting, welding, assembly, machining, installation, and mechanical adjustment activities for railway components, conduct technical inspections and monitor the operational and structural conditions of modified rolling stock, control proper use of tools, equipment, materials, and metal-mechanical consumables, coordinate and supervise technical staff, welders, mechanics, and operational assistants assigned to the project, guarantee compliance with industrial safety regulations, safe work practices, and the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SG-SST) guidelines during task execution, prepare technical reports, progress reports, diagnostics, and maintenance or intervention records; support scheduling and control of workshop or site maintenance timelines and operational activities. Specific Knowledge or Requirements: ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, industrial welding processes (SMAW, MIG, TIG, and thermal cutting), proficiency with metal-mechanical workshop tools and equipment, technical inspection and quality control, proficiency with office software (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook; basic or intermediate AutoCAD skills), technical report writing and document control, industrial safety regulations and the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SG-SST), regulations applicable to metal-mechanical processes and industrial maintenance, desirable experience managing schedules and activity control using Microsoft Project or similar tools.
