BIC, we are looking for a passionate Mechanical Technician II dedicated to operational excellence and automotive maintenance to ensure our fleet continues delivering the best collection and cleaning services to the city. · Purpose of the Position · Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and yard mechanics for our vehicle fleet and light machinery. · Key Responsibilities · - Perform engine repairs, gearbox disassembly, clutch adjustments, and suspension leaf spring replacements. - Carry out yard mechanical, bench, and metalworking activities (cutting and welding). - Validate mechanical incidents reported by drivers to ensure proper equipment operation. - Address mechanical incidents on route when necessary. - Complete and manage work orders and lubricant forms. · What Profile Are We Looking For? · Education: Technical or Technological degree in mechanics, electricity, electromechanics, automotive engineering, welding, or related fields. Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience as a mechanic or in similar positions. Driver's License: C1 or C2 (desirable; licenses in process are acceptable). · Technical Knowledge: · - Maintenance of heavy and light vehicles. - Suspension, transmission, braking, and hydraulic systems. - Electronic fuel injection systems. · Base Salary: $2,222,500.-Requirements- Minimum Education: University / Technical Program 2 years of experience Driver's Licenses: C1, C2 Keywords: technologist, technician, tech, technician, technology, technology, technologist, mechanic, mechanic
