Position Summary: We are seeking a Lawyer with experience in corporate, commercial, contractual, and labor law, expertise in legal management of educational institutions, and responding to legal requests. Develops leadership and analytical thinking skills **Lawyer with solid training in corporate, commercial, contractual, and labor law, with a minimum of two (2) years of professional experience.** **Extensive knowledge of legal management of private educational institutions (schools, kindergartens, universities, and institutions for work and human development education), familiarity with education sector regulations, and experience managing tutela proceedings.** **Must be highly proficient in drafting responses to petitions, complaints, claims, and suggestions related to education, constitutional rights, family law, and labor law.** **Preference given to candidates with specialization in commercial or labor law.** **Knowledge:** \- **Regulatory framework of the education sector (mandatory).** \- **Management of school conflicts and coexistence issues.** \- **Contract law, drafting of agreements, contracts, and strategic alliances.** \- **Constitutional law (fundamental rights of citizens).** \- **Procedural law (handling of tutela proceedings and petitions).** \- **Labor law (management of disciplinary proceedings).** \- **Family law (understanding concepts such as parental authority, custody, parental responsibility, visitation regimes, and child support obligations).** \- **Real estate law (preferred).** \- **Insurance law (preferred).** **Skills and Competencies:** \- **Leadership and proactivity, strategic and analytical thinking.** \- **Excellent oral and written communication skills (strong writing and spelling proficiency).** \- **Legal drafting, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.** \- **Strong research skills and eagerness to learn.** \- **Humility, honesty, and respect.** \- **Willingness to learn multiple areas of law.** \- **Generosity with time.** **Main Responsibilities:** \- **Draft responses to legal inquiries.** \- **Respond to petitions and file tutela actions.** \- **Address requests from inspection and oversight entities (e.g., Education Secretariats, Local Education Directorates, ICBF, Family Commissariats, Public Prosecution Service, etc.).** \- **Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and alliances.** \- **Advise on updating school documents (e.g., coexistence manuals, institutional educational projects, informed consents, circulars, etc.).** \- **Prepare presentations on legal topics of interest (e.g., labor reform, fee regulations, school coexistence, new laws, etc.).** \- **Represent private educational institutions in school and labor disciplinary proceedings, as well as administrative and/or judicial proceedings.** \- **Manage legal risks associated with teaching staff and students.** \- **Document management.** Employment Type: Full-time Education: * Completed specialization (Desirable) Experience: * 5 years: 1 year (Desirable)
