




Job Summary: An occupational safety and health professional responsible for implementing, supervising, and controlling the OSHMS to ensure regulatory compliance and operational safety. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive management of occupational safety and health (OSHMS) 2. Supervision and control of safety procedures and legal requirements 3. Coordination and management of safety for high-risk work, such as work at heights * Implement, supervise, and control the OSHMS at assigned work fronts. * Verify compliance with safe work procedures and legal requirements. * Monitor daily entry, presence, exit, and incidents involving operational personnel. * Validate medical fitness, active affiliations, and health conditions of personnel. * Conduct and sign pre-operational inspections of equipment, tools, machinery, and vehicles. * Ensure all activities have valid permits, inspections, and active safety controls. * Conduct planned and unplanned inspections at work fronts, workshops, and operational areas. * Identify, report, and track unsafe conditions and acts. * Halt activities in the presence of severe or imminent risks. * Coordinate and maintain continuous communication with the Integrated Management System (IMS) Coordinator and Project Coordinator regarding operational updates, risks, and progress. * Report daily activity start and completion, present personnel, and active work fronts. * Control proper use, condition, and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE), managing its distribution and replenishment. * Ensure order, cleanliness, signage, and demarcation of work areas. * Conduct daily safety talks and field awareness activities. * Report and manage incidents, accidents, and emergencies. * Verify safety conditions and fall protection systems prior to work at heights. * Sign and authorize work-at-height permits. * Ensure only competent and certified personnel perform work at heights. * Supervise the safe assembly, use, and disassembly of ladders, scaffolds, lifelines, and fall arrest equipment. * Inspect specialized height-work equipment (harnesses, lifelines, slings, connectors, etc.). * Suspend height-related activities under adverse weather conditions or uncontrolled risks.
