BIC, the first non-bank financial institution certified as a B Corporation, is seeking a DEVELOPMENT INTERN, Objective: - Support in software module development and maintenance. - Participation in unit testing and quality assurance (QA). - Collaboration in user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design. - Technical documentation of processes and APIs. Requirements: Education: Currently enrolled student in Systems Engineering (minimum one year of completed coursework and eligible for internships). Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript). Understanding of relational database logic (SQL). Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub). Theoretical knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). Ability to write technical and functional manuals. Internship Conditions Location: Bogotá, Colombia (On-site). Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Compensation: Current Legal Minimum Monthly Wage (SMLV) + Workers’ Compensation Insurance (ARL).
