Job Summary: We are seeking a Systems Engineer to lead a team and ensure the stability and security of the enterprise technological platform under high-demand operational frameworks. Server, network, and cybersecurity administration A transportation company located in Cali requires a Systems Engineer to lead the area's work team, with a minimum of two years’ experience in similar roles. The position’s objective is to guarantee the technological platform’s stability, service availability, and perimeter security, ensuring business continuity under high-demand and continuously available operational frameworks. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS: - Infrastructure Management: Operation and administration of technological environments integrating advanced corporate hardware and software support. - Server and Network Administration: Management of Linux/Windows servers, corporate LAN/WAN networks, and MPLS links. - Security and Cybersecurity: Perimeter security management (firewalls, IT policies) and operation of corporate antivirus platforms such as Bitdefender. - Continuity and Support: Backup management, disaster recovery planning, maintenance of critical platforms, CCTV, biometric systems, and access control. - Help Desk and Vendor Management: Coordination of incidents and requests via ServiManager, support for users across all organizational levels, and management of technology/licensing vendors. REQUIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE: Linux servers and corporate services (Zimbra on Linux, Apache, databases). Advanced virtualization on Proxmox. Architecture and maintenance of workstations, laptops, printers, and connectivity.
