Academic Qualifications * Professional degree in Public Accounting. * Valid Professional License. * Preferred specialization in Finance, Financial Management, Taxation, or related fields. Experience * Minimum **5 years of experience** in accounting positions. * Minimum **2 years leading work teams** in accounting and finance areas. * Experience in preparation and analysis of financial statements. * Proficiency in tax, fiscal, and accounting processes. * Knowledge of internal and external audits. * Experience in budget management, bank reconciliations, and accounting closings. * Preferred experience in commercial, industrial, or service-sector companies. Technical Knowledge * International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). * Colombian tax and labor legislation. * Preparation and filing of national and local taxes. * Exogenous information reporting. * Magnetic media submissions. * Cost and budget management. * Financial analysis. * Advanced Excel proficiency. * Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Siigo, World Office, SAP, Siesa, Helisa, or similar). Main Responsibilities * Lead and supervise the accounting team. * Ensure timely monthly and annual accounting closings. * Prepare and submit financial statements. * Ensure compliance with tax and fiscal obligations. * Supervise bank and accounting reconciliations. * Coordinate internal and external audits. * Implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks. * Analyze financial indicators and prepare managerial reports. * Coordinate preparation of the annual budget and monitor its execution. * Provide financial support to management in decision-making. * Maintain updated accounting procedures in accordance with current regulations. * Manage relationships with regulatory authorities, statutory auditors, and government agencies.
