At **La Sultana**, we seek committed, responsible, and experienced **Backhoe Loader Operators** in forestry operations to support timber harvesting and management activities, ensuring safety, proper equipment care, and operational efficiency. **Work Location:** Forestry Project / Km 22, El Gigante Road, Huila Requirements * High school diploma (desirable but not mandatory). * Certification or training as a Heavy Equipment Operator (desirable but not mandatory). * Valid driver's license compliant with applicable regulations. * Minimum of 1 **year** of experience operating a backhoe loader, preferably in forestry projects, earthmoving, or timber harvesting. * Knowledge of pre-operational inspections and basic maintenance of heavy machinery. * Knowledge of and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations. Main Responsibilities * Operate the backhoe loader safely and efficiently during forestry harvesting activities. * Support the opening and adaptation of forest roads when required. * Load, move, position, and handle logs or forest materials following supervisor or project leader instructions. * Conduct daily pre-operational inspections and report mechanical or operational issues. * Ensure proper use, cleaning, and basic maintenance of assigned equipment. * Comply with company-established operational, environmental, and safety procedures. * Support related operational activities as needed.
