Curriculum development and educational alignment **Job Description** ---------------------- Coordinate the development of academic activities assigned to teaching staff at the corresponding level, covering grades from kindergarten through twelfth grade. Guarantee the appropriate use, handling, and accountability of various resources provided by the school for performing job duties. Verify the results of the evaluation process for students applying for admission to the section. Maintain effective communication with students. Supervise adherence to the section’s rules and policies, as well as implementation of provisions set forth in the Coexistence Manual. Promote an environment ensuring the safety of students and section staff. Supervise compliance with International Baccalaureate (IB) programs and projects/units. Ensure compliance with established curriculum guidelines. Lead continuous curriculum review to guarantee horizontal and vertical alignment across subjects and adherence to programs. Ensure curriculum articulation between sections through collaborative work with respective Program Coordinators and Section Heads. Guarantee periodic delivery of academic reports to parents/guardians, ensuring these reflect agreed-upon best practices in assessment policy. Stay informed about changes in national legislation, educational advancements, and trends to assess the suitability of implementing such developments.
