Please note that Cargill does not provide relocation assistance to the work location.** Operator I will perform a variety of responsibilities within the assigned area of the production facility, including operating machinery and mechanical equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and resolving basic issues in accordance with established policies, procedures, and frequent guidance. In this role, different work areas will be assigned as needed to ensure achievement of production goals, support quality product output, and maximize performance while adhering to all safety policies and regulatory requirements. **Key Accountabilities** ------------------------ * Breast meat capture for filleting * Fliting and portioning of breast meat * Packaging and sealing of fillets * Operate equipment and technological tools in the assigned area of the production facility, learning and applying basic understanding of policies and procedures to carry out fundamental and clearly defined processes. * Perform a variety of responsibilities in the identified area, which may include loading and unloading bulk materials, packaging, terminal operations, mixing, monitoring computerized control systems, and making infrequent basic machine adjustments. * Learn operational procedures, receive information from peers, and provide feedback on the clarity and effectiveness of guidance, including documentation of procedures. * Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot assigned equipment and processes, collaborating with the team to resolve issues. * Record production and inventory activities in computerized systems. * Operate mobile equipment (e.g., forklift, mini-loader, ride-on floor sweeper, front-end loader). * Understand and comply with all safety policies and procedures, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and monitor work pace and progress of assigned teams or processes—requiring awareness of interconnections with other process areas. * Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** ------------------ **Minimum Qualifications:** * Must be at least 18 years of age. * Completion of primary education. * Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, pushing and pulling, climbing stairs, kneeling, squatting, or twisting safely, with or without reasonable accommodation. * Ability to lift up to 25 or 12\.5 kg with or without reasonable accommodation (as applicable). * Ability to work in various environments where noise, dust, chemicals, etc., may be present, using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Ability to read and write in Spanish without difficulty. * Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts, with prior notice. * Ability to work under diverse indoor and outdoor conditions, including heat up to 28 degrees Celsius. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Prior experience working in a similar environment. * Basic computer skills.
