DESCRIPTION **Eosol Group seeks a Civil Engineer** with at least 5 years of experience to join our team in Medellín. The ideal candidate will hold a solid academic background as a Civil Engineer specializing in Roads, Canals, and Ports, with proven experience in hydraulic structure design. If you meet the requirements and are passionate about civil engineering, we want to meet you! **Key Responsibilities:** * Design and supervise the execution of civil engineering projects, with special emphasis on hydraulic works. * Conduct feasibility studies, cost analyses, and project planning. * Prepare drawings, technical specifications, and calculation reports. * Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary work teams. * Ensure compliance with technical, environmental, and safety regulations. * Perform construction monitoring and control, guaranteeing quality and adherence to deadlines. * Participate in the preparation of technical and economic proposals. * Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure project success. * Identify and propose innovative solutions to engineering challenges. * Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in civil and hydraulic engineering. **Job Requirements:** * Professional degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering of Roads, Canals, and Ports. * Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, focused on the design and construction of hydraulic structures and civil works. * In-depth knowledge of hydraulic structure design (dams, channels, drainage systems, etc.). * Experience in the design and/or management of road infrastructure projects (roads). * Proficiency in civil engineering design and calculation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC\-RAS, etc.). * Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Results-oriented mindset and ability to work under pressure. * Residency in Medellín or willingness to relocate. **Desired Skills (Non-Exclusive):** * Master’s degree or specialization in fields related to hydraulic or transportation engineering. * Experience in contract and tender management. * Knowledge of international regulations and standards. * Experience using BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodologies. * Proficiency in English (intermediate or advanced level). * Experience in the renewable energy sector or water resource management.
