Create and enter office correspondence using a computer. Distribute and route mail. Order and track supplies and forms required by the Human Resources department. Answer telephone calls and take messages. Create new personnel files. Assist applicants with application procedures. Maintain the designated area for completing applications and ensure its cleanliness, good condition, and accessibility for individuals with reduced mobility. Respond to questions, requests, and issues raised by employees and management regarding programs, policies, and guidelines of the brand and Human Resources department. Inform Human Resources management of employee relations issues within the department or property. Maintain confidentiality and security of personnel and hotel-related records, files, and information. Accurately maintain all personnel records and files (e.g., interview documents, I\-9 forms). Follow and implement all brand policies and procedures; ensure wearing of a clean and complete uniform; maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times while on duty; respect confidentiality when disseminating brand- and/or hotel-specific information; protect all company assets. Report accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to the supervisor. Greet and receive all guests in accordance with brand standards. Use clear and courteous language in all communications; prepare and proofread written documents accurately and thoroughly; answer the telephone using appropriate language. Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers; unite and support one another to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to other employees’ concerns. Ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards. Enter and retrieve professional information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems. Move, lift, carry, pull, and place objects weighing up to 4.5 kilograms independently. Perform all other duties assigned by supervisors that are consistent with the position. RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS Education:High school diploma or equivalent. Related Work Experience:At least 1 year of related work experience. Supervisory Experience:No supervisory experience required.
