Integrated work with multidisciplinary teams **POSITION INFORMATION** ------------------------- **Position:** Product Design Engineer **Department:** Engineering **Immediate Supervisor:** Head of Product Engineering **General Summary:** Design and optimize aeronautical fuel supply equipment through hydraulic studies, modeling, preparation of technical drawings and reports, and integrated collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** ---------------------- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. **Experience:** Minimum 2 years’ experience in numerical formulation and analysis, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry. Experience in structural design projection, piping, tanks, etc. **Knowledge:** * Proficiency in numerical formulation and analysis, oriented toward decision-making for mechanical and fluid system design, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry. * Knowledge of and ability to interpret standards applicable to the fuel handling industry. * Proficiency in preparing Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID). * Project management skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. * SolidWorks proficiency. * Conversational English. U.S. visa (valid) is desirable. **FUNCTION DESCRIPTION** -------------------------------- * Conduct hydraulic studies on aircraft fuel supply systems to determine components for design (power take-off, pump, motor, valves) and equipment fabrication in compliance with technical standards and customer requirements. * Develop mechanical models simulating operational conditions of equipment to enable design optimization. * Generate technical reports (Calculation Memos), specialized drawings, and other deliverables supporting multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure integration of designs into the overall project. * Engage in collaborative engineering across various subsidiaries. * Perform other duties as assigned based on organizational needs.
