With timeless style and legendary service, Four Seasons is shaping Cartagena’s new cultural focal point. **About the Role** The Pool Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring guest safety in the pool area, preventing accidents, enforcing safety regulations, and responding effectively in emergency situations. They must also provide exceptional hospitality service, ensuring guests enjoy a safe and pleasant experience. **What You’ll Do:** * Continuously monitor the pool and surrounding areas to prevent accidents and identify unsafe behaviors or hazardous situations. * Respond immediately to aquatic emergencies, applying rescue techniques and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as needed. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and capacity controls, guaranteeing guests use facilities safely. * Provide guest assistance and support, informing them about safety rules and addressing questions courteously and professionally. * Maintain the pool area in optimal condition, ensuring cleanliness, order, and availability of safety equipment (life rings, first-aid kits, etc.). * Periodically verify water quality and equipment functionality, reporting any malfunctions or anomalies to maintenance staff. * Coordinate with other departments (Security, Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Management) to ensure safe and efficient pool operations. **Requirements:** * Valid lifeguard certification issued by a recognized authority. * CPR and first-aid certification, plus aquatic rescue training. * Minimum 3 years’ prior experience as a lifeguard, preferably in hotels, resorts, or clubs. * Basic\-intermediate English proficiency. * Knowledge of: + Pool rescue + Towing rescue techniques + CPR + Drowning management + Use of rescue equipment (floatation devices, defibrillators) **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary * Indefinite-term employment contract * Excellent training and career development opportunities * Complimentary accommodation at other Four Seasons hotels and resorts * Free laundry service for employee uniforms * Complimentary meals for employees **Schedule:** * Full availability
