Job Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant for Connplants SAS with experience in electricity and maintenance, responsible for ensuring optimal operation of machinery and infrastructure. Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant for Connplants SAS. We need someone with experience in electricity, corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, and facility repairs. This is an on-site position requiring commitment and dedication. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks: 1. Ensure optimal operation of company machinery and physical infrastructure through prevention, prediction, and correction of potential failures or deterioration. 2. Execute the maintenance schedule agreed upon with your immediate supervisor, either personally or through third parties. 3. Propose improvements that guarantee efficiency and optimization of machinery lifespan and company physical resources. 4. Ensure proper conservation and safety of tools and materials provided for task execution, report any anomalies they present, and request replacement if required. 5. Maintain all facilities—including offices and warehouses—in perfect condition regarding electrical systems, plumbing, painting, carpentry, etc. 6. Maintain assertive and effective communication with your immediate supervisor and other departments within the company to avoid rework and promote teamwork. 7. Properly track consumables assigned for carrying out duties inherent to your position. 8. Support the Production Coordinator in designing the annual maintenance plan and execute it as agreed. 9. Conduct daily inspections of company machinery and equipment. 10. Prepare required quotations according to purchasing procedures, informing the Production Coordinator at all times for approval of supplier contracts or consumable purchases. 11. Support supervision of outsourced maintenance, verifying contractors execute approved work orders in accordance with the SGSST (Occupational Health and Safety Management System). 12. Ensure contractors complete SST and quality forms diligently. 13. Record machinery and consumables entry and exit in the system. 14. Keep equipment and machinery life-cycle records up to date. 15. Carry out all facility repair tasks in compliance with occupational health and safety standards. Prior experience in industrial maintenance and technical skills in electricity are required.
