Fluency in Spanish; English proficiency is valued We are looking for a dynamic waiter/waitress with excellent customer service orientation to join our team. Your primary mission will be to provide an exceptional dining experience to our customers by efficiently, courteously, and organizedly managing table service. You will serve as the ambassador of our brand and be directly responsible for ensuring every customer feels welcome and well attended. Key Responsibilities Customer Service: Greet customers, escort them to their tables, and present the menu with a friendly and professional attitude. Order Taking (Runner): Accurately record beverage and food orders using PDA systems or physical order slips, and correctly relay orders to the bar and kitchen. Culinary Advisory: Possess in-depth knowledge of the menu and wine/beverage list to make recommendations, inform about allergens, and address customer inquiries. Table Service: Serve dishes and beverages promptly and elegantly, adhering to the establishment’s service protocols. Setup and Maintenance: Prepare and set tables (cleaning, linens, cutlery) and ensure the dining area remains immaculate at all times. Payment Handling: Prepare bills, process payments (cash, card, or apps), and manage the cash register honestly. Upselling: Promote desserts, coffee, or daily specials to enhance the customer experience and increase the average check size. Requirements and Qualifications Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in similar roles (restaurants, hotels, or upscale cafés). Languages: Fluency in Spanish. English (or other languages) is a plus, depending on the location’s tourist profile. Communication Skills: Ability to interact with customers in a polite, empathetic, and solution-oriented manner. Education: Food Handler Certification (mandatory). Hospitality or basic sommelier training is a plus. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and handle trays confidently. Availability: Flexible schedule to work split shifts, weekends, and holidays. Key Competencies Teamwork: Constant coordination with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service. Agility and Speed: Ability to manage multiple tables simultaneously during peak hours. Composure and Calmness: Maintain a smile and efficiency even under pressure or when dealing with difficult customers.
