Your primary focus will be validating, reviewing, and ensuring accurate payroll processing, guaranteeing compliance with Colombian labor regulations and accounting consistency of related records. This is an operational/support role within Finance \- Controller, with a hybrid work model: **2 days in-office and 3 days remote**, with mandatory attendance on Thursdays. **Responsibilities:** * **Validate and review Colombia payroll** prepared by the external provider, ensuring calculated amounts are correct. * **Act as an intermediary** between HR, the external payroll provider, and the controllership team. * **Receive, organize, and process payroll updates** from HR, including medical leaves, other types of leave, deductions, contributions, and other applicable employee movements. * **Verify complex payroll calculations**, including integral salary, payroll loans (libranzas), AFC (voluntary savings accounts), voluntary contributions, salary flexibility arrangements, deductions, and income tax withholding. * **Monitor social security contributions**, deductions, settlements, and other employer obligations related to employees in Colombia. * **Perform payroll reconciliations**, comparing processed payroll data against accounting records to ensure numerical consistency. * **Support accounting recording and validation** of payroll-related accounts, including expenses, liabilities, assets, and receivables. * **Prepare and review reports or templates in English**, when required. * **Ensure compliance with applicable Colombian labor regulations** regarding payroll and employee benefits. * Other duties as assigned **About You:** **Requirements:*** **2\+ years** of relevant experience in payroll processes in Colombia. * **Solid experience in processing complex payroll**, including integral salary, payroll loans (libranzas), AFC, voluntary contributions, salary flexibility, and deduction management. * **Strong knowledge of Colombian labor legislation**, medical leaves, other types of leave, social security, income tax withholding, and payroll settlement procedures. * **Solid accounting fundamentals**, especially in reconciliations, expense accounts, liabilities, assets, and receivables. * **Ability to perform end-to-end payroll validation**, identifying errors, inconsistencies, and calculation discrepancies. * **Experience working with external payroll providers**, or in payroll review/dual-verification roles. * **English A2\+ or B1 preferred**, primarily for reading, emails, reports, and templates; advanced conversational English is not required. * **NetSuite knowledge preferred**. * **High attention to detail**, organizational skills, analytical judgment, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. * **Clear and effective communication** to coordinate with HR, finance, and external providers. * **Ability to work in a hybrid model**, attending the office 2 days per week, including mandatory attendance on Thursdays. \#LI\-Hybrid \#LI\-ML1 **About Monks** Monks is the global, digital\-first, data\-driven, unitary operating brand of S4 Capital plc.
