Unilever is hiring for **Quality Coordinator** **Function:** Quality **Scope:** National **Location:** Colombia, Palmira Plant **Terms and Conditions:** Full time, this position does not include relocation support **Position Purpose:** The person responsible for Quality at the Plant coordinates the implementation of Unilever's specifications, standards, and Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure and control product quality in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. This key Quality role ensures systems are in place to meet local regulatory requirements and drives quality improvement activities at the plant to ensure consumer product safety and overall quality, as well as addressing consumer/customer concerns. **Main Responsibilities:** * Coordinates the implementation of Unilever's Quality Management System (QMS) at the plant to ensure consumer safety and overall quality of the final manufactured product. * Coordinates efforts to verify plant operations' compliance with Unilever's QMS through an internal quality audit program. * Coordinates efforts to submit a complete, accurate, and timely self-assessment of the quality verification program. * Ensures the development of local work procedures and instructions that accurately reflect Unilever's standards and other applicable standards. * Coordinates the collection, analysis, and allocation of data into standard quality loss trees for reporting operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). * Ensures provision of plant details for the Intercompany Quality Agreement to the market receiving the product. * Ensures efforts to complete and maintain external audits and certifications. * Ensures efforts to verify and document compliance with applicable regulatory requirements related to quality, consumer safety, and ethnic/religious requirements. * Ensures processes to verify and document traceability of Materials, packaging, and products, including annual mock recalls or withdrawal exercises. * Uses SAP QM and Unilever specifications, supporting verification of their use for quality purposes. **Main Requirements:** * Experience in Quality * Project management * HACCP, GMP, ISO, Hygiene, allergen management * Statistics * Advanced level in Excel * Knowledge of Power BI **Desirable Requirements:** * Previous experience managing staff * Problem management with suppliers and quality systems * Intermediate English proficiency Unilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
