Collaborative environment focused on product and continuous improvement #### **About the Role** We are looking for a **Senior Backend Developer specialized in FastAPI** to design, develop, and scale high-performance backend services. You will work closely with product, frontend, and data teams, actively participating in technical and architectural decisions. #### **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs with FastAPI. * Define and implement scalable and secure backend architectures. * Optimize performance, availability, and code quality. * Integrate relational and/or NoSQL databases. * Implement automated tests (unit and integration). * Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers. * Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams. * Document APIs and technical decisions. * Support deployments and continuous improvement processes. #### **Education and Qualifications** * A professional or technical degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields is desirable but not mandatory. * Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI (mandatory requirement). * Experience with microservices, databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL and/or MongoDB), ORMs, and Docker. * Solid understanding of security best practices, testing, and version control (Git). #### **Years of Experience** * Minimum **5 years of backend development experience**. #### **What We Offer** * Competitive contract aligned with your profile. * Hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office work (2 days in the office, 3 days from home). * Workplace location: Cali (North of the city). * Real opportunity to contribute to technical decisions and grow professionally. * Collaborative environment focused on product and continuous improvement.
