Join a purpose-driven winning team that promotes creativity and innovation in a fast-paced environment, where we’re always committed to results, in an inclusive, diverse, and high-performing culture. **Purpose** Identify, analyze, design, and execute activities related to the support, maintenance, stabilization, and/or improvement of implemented technological solutions, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability to guarantee the operation of assigned platforms. **Responsibilities** * Act as an ambassador of the customer-focused culture to strengthen client relationships and leverage the Bank’s relationships, systems, and knowledge overall. * Maintain and administer systems, implementing best practices for Windows platforms according to BNS Standards. * Conduct high-availability (HA and DBR) testing for critical systems deployed on such architectures and the Windows Platform. * Plan and implement patch/fix schedules, as well as remediation activities to meet Windows Platform hardening requirements; likewise, deploy patches and scripts via SCCM. * Monitor and ensure application stability across various environments supporting Scotiabank-Mexico and Latam operations, improving SLAs and incident interruptions, as well as assisting and supporting incident resolution by helping investigate root causes. * Develop installation and fix maintenance plans. * Provision servers in the Scotiabank Cloud. * Design Windows environments architecture integrated with other services and platforms. * Promote infrastructure improvements, establish monitoring criteria, and identify and diagnose performance issues. * Execute changes to applications running on the Windows platform. * Actively participate in architecture committees, ensuring projects adhere to best practices and solutions. * Prepare and deliver reports and other required documentation, ensuring confidentiality in handling business information, credentials, customer data, information systems, and other elements assigned under your responsibility. * Maintain the AMV certification required to perform job functions, if applicable. * Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture must be considered in daily activities and decisions. * Perform effective and efficient operations within respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, while simultaneously ensuring suitability, compliance, and effectiveness of daily business controls to meet obligations regarding operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, money laundering and terrorist financing risk, and conduct risk. * Promote a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive workplace. **Education, Experience:** **Experience:** More than 5 years of experience administering platforms including: * Administration of operating systems or technology platforms aligned with specialty * Administration of technological solutions in production environments * Administration of physical and virtual infrastructure according to area of expertise * Management of technology projects * Active participation in DRP-type testing **Desired Knowledge:** * Certification in administration of technology platforms aligned with specialty * ITIL certification * Advanced English (B2) * Project management using agile methodologies **Work Conditions** Work in a standard office environment; overtime work is frequent.
