We are currently seeking an Accounting Technologist whose mission will be: To execute the company’s internal accounting, applying current standards and procedures to ensure timely and reliable information. Key Responsibilities: Accrual and Payment Management: Accrue invoices related to mill purchases, process corresponding disbursements, and record them accordingly in the books. Cash Handling and Daily Cash Reconciliation: Receive cash from sales, disburse funds for authorized payments per company policy, and perform daily cash reconciliation. Prepare consolidated reports and collect funds for loading/unloading services performed by the crew; report biweekly movements to the Production Coordinator for review and make payments to staff according to instructions provided by the Coordinator. Submit weekly partial and final consolidated Profit & Loss (P&L) reports for the casino and present them to the GH Management. Monthly reviews of advances under IFRS vs. tax standards for raw materials (account code 1440), balances between accounts payable (suppliers) under account codes 22 and 23, and advances versus accounts payable. Review account 02-3-70-30.-01 (casino) to identify and correct inconsistencies. Record paddy settlements and monitor related invoicing to register entries and schedule payments. Record provisions for freight, staffing, and/or maintenance as required. Approve fixed invoices issued by Radian. Review invoice numbering (NumRot) for issued invoices and verify successful transmission to DIAN. Support accounting and administrative activities within the department, and carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor consistent with the position. Requirements: Graduated Accounting Technologist, or degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields. Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and accounting reconciliations. Knowledge of current accounting and tax regulations. Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables and formulas).
