Inventory Coordinator – Retail Sector (Supermarket) · Job Description Supermarket La 80 is seeking an Inventory Coordinator — a university-educated professional with experience in the retail sector, responsible for ensuring proper control, tracking, and optimization of inventories across all points of sale and storage centers. The candidate will lead inventory processes, ensure system data reliability, minimize discrepancies and losses, and propose strategies contributing to operational efficiency and business profitability. Main Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise inventory control across the company’s 6 locations. Perform daily monitoring of goods receipts, shipments, transfers, and adjustments. Ensure proper product rotation, expiration date control, and stock-level management. Design and execute schedules for cyclic, selective, and general inventories. Analyze inventory discrepancies and develop action plans for correction. Supervise goods receipt, storage, dispatch, and replenishment processes. Implement management indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy, turnover, stockouts, and shrinkage. Coordinate with procurement, logistics, operations, and point-of-sale teams to ensure product availability. Lead the team responsible for inventory processes at each location. Prepare managerial reports on results, issues, and improvement opportunities. Propose strategies to reduce losses, shrinkage, and stockouts. Ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures. Requirements University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Accounting, or related fields. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in similar roles within the retail, supermarket, or mass-consumption sectors. Knowledge of multi-location inventory management and control. Specialization in related fields preferred. Familiarity with inventory indicators, turnover rates, shrinkage, and auditing. Leadership, numerical analysis, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory software, and advanced Excel.
