**PURPOSE** ------------- Ensure product flow throughout the supply chain by applying best practices in receiving, storage, and dispatch processes. **RESPONSIBILITIES** --------------------- Receiving * Count merchandise, receive documentation, and enter data into the system. * Receive and inspect returned items, process documentation, and update inventory records. * Process invoices and other documents for accounting and subsequent payment. * Coordinate with suppliers regarding issues arising during the inventory receiving process. Storage * Identify, report, and track inventory discrepancies; perform physical counts. * Verify products against assigned batches for location purposes and register batches for movements. * Store products in designated locations. * Transfer products between locations or warehouses. * Report any anomalies affecting inventory accuracy. * Ensure procedures that optimize warehouse operations. * Support the department in managing performance indicators.
