As Store Assistant Manager: You will be the second-in-command on the sales floor, overseeing the proper execution of all sales processes—including cash handling, inventory management, internal and external customer service, human resource management, among others. Your mission is to lead the team to deliver an optimal customer shopping experience, ensuring proper product display and pricing. What will your day-to-day look like? You will ensure that sales floor policies and procedures—including opening/closing, product placement, cash handling, asset protection, cleaning, etc.—are correctly implemented. You will support inventory administration to ensure accuracy and guarantee appropriate restocking of merchandise. You will ensure store rules and regulations are clearly explained, understood, and properly followed by all team members. You will monitor work schedules and vacation planning according to business needs. You will manage and resolve customer complaints, questions, and inquiries. You will safeguard the safety and well-being of your team in accordance with company policies. You will develop, train, and motivate your team while embodying Dollarcity’s values and culture. What do you need to succeed? Graduate Technical Degree. University studies (preferred). Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles. Energy, attention to detail, customer service orientation, and assertiveness. Flexible availability and mobility.
