As Store Manager: You will be primarily responsible for the proper execution of all sales floor processes—including cash handling, inventory management, internal and external customer service, human resource management, among others. Your mission is to add value to the business by leading our customers’ shopping experience and ensuring proper product display and pricing. What will your day-to-day look like? You will correctly implement store policies and procedures for the sales floor, including: opening/closing, product placement, cash handling, asset protection, cleaning, etc. You will lead inventory administration to ensure accuracy and guarantee appropriate restocking of merchandise. You will ensure that all store rules and regulations are clearly explained, understood, and properly followed by every member of your team. You will plan work schedules and vacations according to business needs. You will manage and resolve customer complaints, questions, and inquiries. You will safeguard the safety and well-being of your team in accordance with company policies. You will develop, train, and motivate your team while embodying Dollarcity’s values and culture. What do you need to succeed? University degree—mandatory. Minimum 4 years of experience in similar leadership positions. Energy, attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and assertiveness.
