We are currently in an expansion phase and aim to strengthen our development team with a profile focused on building high-quality user interfaces. **Job Description** We are looking for a UI/UX Developer to join our team on an hourly-paid basis. This position is for someone who combines expertise in user experience and interface design with real frontend implementation capability. We do not seek a designer who delivers only mockups, nor a developer who lacks design understanding: we seek the bridge between both worlds. You will be responsible for designing and implementing interfaces for our web and mobile applications, ensuring that what is delivered to end users is consistent with the design, accessible, responsive, and high-performing. You will work closely with the backend development team and business stakeholders to translate requirements into well-designed and well-built digital products. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing time effectively, as this role operates on an hourly reporting model with clearly defined deliverables. **Responsibilities** UI/UX Design: * Research and understand user needs through interviews, behavioral analysis, and usability testing. * Create user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and final interfaces in Figma. * Design and maintain design systems (components, typography, color palettes, iconography). * Ensure visual consistency, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design across all products. * Document design decisions and keep UX/UI documentation up to date. Frontend Development: * Implement designed interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript. * Develop reusable components using frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular. * Integrate APIs and external services on the frontend side. * Ensure performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. * Collaborate with backend developers for seamless integration. * Conduct code reviews and apply frontend development best practices. * Participate in team agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, planning, review). **Requirements** * Minimum 2 years of experience in roles combining UI/UX design and frontend implementation. * Portfolio demonstrating real UI/UX projects and frontend code (mandatory). * Proficiency in Figma (Adobe XD or similar tools are a plus). * Strong command of HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid), and JavaScript/TypeScript. * Experience with at least one frontend framework: React, Vue.js, or Angular. * Knowledge of user-centered design principles, visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and accessibility. * Experience designing and implementing responsive and mobile-first interfaces. * Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows. * Demonstrated ability to manage time and meet deliverables under an hourly-based model. * Excellent communication and collaborative skills when working with technical and business teams. * Residency in Bogotá with availability for on-site/hybrid work. **Desirable** * Experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less) or utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS. * Knowledge of animations and micro-interactions (Framer Motion, GSAP, CSS animations). * Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban). * Experience designing for SaaS, e-commerce, or enterprise applications. * Knowledge of frontend testing (Jest, Cypress, or similar tools). * Experience with prototyping and research tools (Maze, Hotjar, Miro). * Intermediate English (reading documentation, communicating with clients or international teams). * Bonus: experience developing interfaces for Odoo or other ERPs. **We Offer** * Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience and skills. * Flexible scheduling under an hourly-based model. * Diverse projects with direct visibility to leadership. * A dynamic and collaborative work environment. * Professional growth opportunities within an expanding company.
