Payroll and social security administration A company in the hydrocarbons sector requires an Accounting Assistant who is responsible, organized, and detail-oriented to support the company's accounting and administrative processes. Main Responsibilities: 2. Creation of accounts and configuration of documents in the accounting software. 3. Preparation of sales invoices. 4. Preparation of cash receipts and income records. 5. Review of customer portals. 6. Tracking of invoices on the DIAN website—invoice acknowledgment. 7. Accounts receivable reconciliation and confirmation of invoice receipt. 8. Issuing endorsements/letters for factoring agreements with customers. 9. Review of factoring portals with customers. 10. Recording various transactions such as purchases, inventory, services, assets, etc. 11. Preparation of electronic supporting documents and their respective submission. 12. Preparation of accounting journal entries for advance offsets among customers, suppliers, and internal accounts. 13. Submission of withholding tax certificates (to suppliers). 14. Requesting withholding VAT (reteiva) certificates (from customers), withholding tax at source, ICA, among others. 15. Preparation and accrual of payroll including related updates. 16. Preparation and submission of electronic payroll. 17.
