FORKLIFT OPERATOR – ITALCOL DE OCCIDENTE Location: Palmira, Valle del Cauca Salary: $2.062.651 Contract Type: Indefinite-term contract Job Objective: Safely and efficiently operate forklift equipment to perform loading, unloading, storage, and movement of finished products, raw materials, packaging materials, and additives, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, road safety, and company-established procedures. Requirements: Completed high school education. Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts. Valid forklift operator certification. Experience operating: Counterbalanced forklifts. Double-deep narrow-aisle pantograph forklifts. Knowledge of warehousing, picking, dispatching, and inventory control. Safe handling of goods and working at storage heights. Knowledge of industrial safety and internal traffic regulations. Desirable experience with WMS systems or radio-frequency equipment. Competencies: Teamwork. Attention to detail. Responsibility and commitment. Focus on operational safety. Working Conditions: Indefinite-term contract. Work schedule from Sunday to Sunday with rotating shifts and legally mandated rest periods.
