Job Summary: We are seeking a Procurement Manager to strategically manage the acquisition of raw materials and optimize supplier relationships in the manufacturing sector. Key Highlights: 1. We seek a Procurement Manager with experience in **direct procurement**, preferably within manufacturing companies, who is responsible for strategically and efficiently managing the acquisition of **raw materials, packaging materials, and operational inputs**, ensuring timeliness, quality, availability, and cost competitiveness. The selected candidate will contribute to strengthening procurement operations by optimizing suppliers, negotiations, and commercial terms in alignment with production requirements and company objectives. Responsibilities * Manage the **direct procurement process for raw materials, packaging materials, and production inputs**. * Conduct supplier search, evaluation, selection, and negotiation. * Request and analyze quotations, comparing prices, quality, delivery times, and commercial terms. * Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery times, and other conditions with suppliers. * Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of required materials. * Maintain up-to-date supplier information and documentation. * Identify opportunities for cost savings and optimization. * Generate and analyze procurement process performance indicators. * Collaborate closely with **Production, Planning, Quality, Logistics, and Commercial** departments to ensure timely supply. * Identify new suppliers and develop alternative supply sources. * Support strategic procurement planning to continuously improve the company’s supply conditions. Requirements * Professional or technical degree in **Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Business, Logistics, International Trade, or related fields**. * Minimum **2 years of experience in procurement processes**, preferably in manufacturing companies. * Proven experience in **direct procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, or production inputs**. * Experience in negotiation and supplier management. * Proficiency in Excel and office productivity tools. * ERP system or procurement platform experience is desirable. **Work Location:** Bogotá **Work Modality:** On-site **Contract Type:** Indefinite-term **Salary:** $2\.500\.000 Position Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term
