We are seeking a Bacteriologist to join our clinical laboratory in Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia. This is an essential role requiring attention to detail and analytical skills to ensure accurate testing and reliable results. * 1 year of experience * Process received samples according to the daily work schedule. * Support sample collection at the main site, as scheduled by the Scientific Technical Coordinator. * Review and sign laboratory results. * Report examination results corresponding to your area. * Perform clinical-pathological correlation procedures and interrelations. * Carry out all quality control procedures specified in technical manuals, including internal and external quality control. * Prepare, within established deadlines, supply requisitions for your coordinator for entry into the Kardex. * Monitor and assume responsibility for inventory and equipment under your supervision. * Prepare for and participate in case discussion meetings within the laboratory. * Participate in intra- and extramural health education activities for users. * Strictly comply with biosafety standards. * Work on-call shifts on Sundays and holidays, during both daytime and nighttime hours. * Provide guidance to patients regarding sample collection and/or result delivery.
