Inventory Analyst – Cosmetics / FMCG Sector **Location:** La Estrella **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. A prominent company in the **cosmetics and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector**, with expanding operations and ongoing enhancement of its logistics processes, is seeking an Inventory Analyst. **Job Purpose** Ensure inventory integrity, accuracy, and availability (raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods) through physical and system-based controls, guaranteeing compliance with quality, production, and sales standards. Key Responsibilities **Inventory Control and Reconciliation** * Execute and supervise cyclic and monthly inventories in warehouses, laboratories, and third-party locations. * Reconcile physical inventories against ERP records. * Generate monthly inventory closing reports. * Investigate, document, and justify discrepancies (shortages and overages). **Analysis and Management** * Analyze inventory turnover to optimize storage. * Identify slow-moving items or products at risk of expiration. * Monitor inventory levels across various states. **Management Indicators** * Develop and track KPIs: * Inventory reliability (cyclic, geographic, by reference, by warehouse). * Inventory discrepancies and their root causes. * Inventory cost. **Continuous Improvement** * Propose and implement improvements to inventory processes and controls. * Support standardization of procedures using methodologies such as 5S. Requirements **Academic Qualification:** * Technician degree in Data Analysis, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. **Experience:** * Minimum 2 years in inventory control, auditing, or similar roles. **Technical Knowledge:** * Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis). * ERP systems experience (SAP, Oracle, Siigo, or others). * Knowledge of organization and control methodologies (e.g., 5S). * Data analysis applied to inventory management.
