Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the safe transportation and delivery of goods, combining driving duties with operational support in loading, unloading, and order verification.

Ensure efficient, timely, and safe transportation, transfer, delivery, and collection of goods, supplies, or transfers between the distribution center, sales points, and corporate or end customers—integrating responsible operation of the assigned vehicle with operational support in loading, unloading, order verification, and logistics documentation control.
* Operate the company vehicle (truck, van, or panel van) in compliance with the National Traffic Code and internal road safety policies.
* Execute daily delivery, pickup, or transfer routes assigned by the logistics department, optimizing time and distance.
* Safeguard both the vehicle and transported cargo from the moment of warehouse loading until actual delivery to the end customer or store.
* Perform or assist in loading and unloading cargo onto the vehicle, ensuring proper weight distribution, volume management, and secure lashing/tie-down to prevent damage during transit.
* Physically verify cargo against invoices, delivery orders, waybills, or dispatch guides, checking item references, quantities, and packaging conditions.
* Apply the **FIFO / PEPS** principle for deliveries to customers or sales points per logistics instructions.
* Support warehouse operations—including picking, packing, or physical inventory counts—when not on driving assignments.
* **Legal Requirements and Required Tools**
* Driver's License: **Valid C1 license (no outstanding traffic fines or with an active, up-to-date payment agreement).**
* **Thorough knowledge of street nomenclature and urban/intermunicipal routes within the operational area.**
