As we grow, we need a proactive, highly organized Administrative Assistant in Bogotá to manage our purchasing, handle vendor relationships, and keep our materials pipeline flowing smoothly. **Who You Are** * You are a natural coordinator who is highly organized and detail\-focused. * You are completely fluent in English (written and verbal) and feel confident speaking with US\-based vendors on the phone. * You enjoy negotiating, tracking down materials, and comparing bids. * You pick up new software quickly and are not afraid to learn new project management tools. **Key Responsibilities** * Support the Construction Project Manager by requesting bids, making material selections, and issuing purchase orders. * Coordinate directly with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors via email and phone to ensure timely deliveries. * Maintain and update project schedules, material delivery trackers, and bidding logs. * Follow up aggressively on backordered items or delayed shipments to keep construction on schedule. * File and organize permits, vendor contracts, insurance certificates, and lien releases. **Qualifications** * Must speak, read, and write fluent English with professional communication skills. * Strong multitasking skills with a background in purchasing, procurement, or vendor management. * Comfortable tracking data in Excel and/or Google Sheets. * Fast learner with strong problem\-solving skills when dealing with logistics or supply chain issues. * Experience with Buildertrend, Procore, or similar construction management tools is a plus.
