Their team consists of high\-performing professionals passionate about delivering measurable business impact and helping SaaS companies scale more effectively. **The Role** ------------ The Client Engagement Manager owns the entire client journey — from initial prospect outreach and sales conversations through engagement delivery, project coordination, and long\-term relationship growth. This is a highly cross\-functional role combining elements of Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, and Project Management. You will act as the single point of accountability for each client engagement, ensuring a seamless experience from the first conversation to program completion and beyond. Reporting directly to the VP of Strategy \& Analytics, you will work closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to maintain alignment, drive accountability, manage risks, and identify opportunities for continued partnership and growth. This is a remote role, with occasional in\-person team meetings in San Diego. **Responsibilities** -------------------- * Own the complete client lifecycle, including prospect outreach, sales qualification, proposal delivery, engagement kickoff, project execution, post\-program follow\-up, and long\-term relationship management. * Drive pipeline development by identifying, engaging, qualifying, and converting B2B SaaS prospects into client engagements. * Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and become a strategic advisor throughout the client journey. * Own project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies across active engagements, ensuring projects remain on track and within scope. * Proactively identify and address engagement risks, including scope creep, timeline delays, budget concerns, and client satisfaction issues. * Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables, decisions, and workstreams remain aligned. * Monitor client health and engagement success, proactively addressing challenges before they impact outcomes. * Identify and drive expansion opportunities, including upsells, cross\-sells, renewals, and future engagements. * Maintain clear and consistent communication through status updates, meeting summaries, action plans, and executive\-level discussions. * Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency across research, documentation, client communication, project tracking, and execution workflows. * Build and continuously improve processes, systems, templates, and best practices that support a scalable and consistent client experience. **Skills \& Experience** ------------------------ * 5\+ years of experience in client success, account management, consulting, professional services, project management, or a similar client\-facing role within SaaS or technology environments. * Proven experience managing complex, multi\-stakeholder client relationships with accountability for business outcomes, not just project coordination. * Demonstrated ability to manage both commercial conversations and client delivery processes. * Strong understanding of B2B SaaS business models, growth\-stage companies, and customer lifecycle management. * Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements and priorities. * Strong communication and relationship\-building skills, with confidence interacting with senior leaders and executives. * Ability to create structure in ambiguous, fast\-moving environments and proactively solve problems. * High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail. * Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot and project management tools such as Asana, Jira, or similar. * Comfortable working in AI\-enabled environments and actively leveraging AI tools to improve speed, quality, and consistency of work. * Bachelor’s degree required; certifications such as PMP, CSM, or equivalent are a plus. **What Will Make You Stand Out** -------------------------------- * Previous experience working in B2B SaaS, consulting, client strategy, implementation, or professional services environments. * A strong commercial mindset with experience driving revenue growth through upsells, renewals, or expansion opportunities. * Ability to build scalable processes and bring structure where none exists. * Experience managing executive\-level relationships and navigating complex stakeholder environments. * A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and leveraging AI to maximize productivity. **About the Job** ----------------- * 100% Remote position * Full\-time role * Reports to: VP of Strategy \& Analytics * Compensation: Commensurate with experience **Equal Opportunity Employer** ------------------------------ Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
