Improve the world and start as SHEQ Officer at Vopak. **What will you do as a SHEQ Officer?** As a SHEQ Officer, you manage, plan, and supervise the resources, processes, and controls necessary to ensure that the operations of Vopak terminals in Colombia are developed under the highest standards of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ). You hold comprehensive responsibility for the Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring alignment with legal and corporate frameworks. Additionally, you act as the Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO/OPIP) and lead all stages of the Strategic Road Safety Plan (PESV), guaranteeing safe mobility and full regulatory compliance. **What do we offer you?** A market\-based salary depending on your experience and knowledge and attractive bonuses. Group health insurance where Vopak pays 50% of the nominal costs. **What do we expect from you as a SHEQ Officer?** * Professional degree in Industrial Engineering or related branches, with a postgraduate degree in Integrated Management Systems. * A minimum of seven years of experience in related areas within the national chemical industry and port operations. * Advanced knowledge of health, safety, environment, quality, and internal auditing. Specialized training in physical security, CCTV, and ISPS Code (Código PBIP). Preferably accredited or eligible as PFSO (OPIP) before DIMAR. * Good command of the English language (Speaking, reading, and writing) * Being accredited or fully qualified as a Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) * Applicants must be eligible to work in Colombia. The Company will not sponsor immigration or work visas. **What does your day look like?** As a SHEQ Officer, you report to the SHEQ Manager NLA. Your daily activities revolve around ensuring the efficiency, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System. You interact internally with all areas of the company, and externally with industry professionals, the ARL, contractors, suppliers, auditing firms, and port/governmental authorities. **Y****our Core Responsibilities Are** * Maintain, update, and operate the Integrated Management System (IMS) and the SG\-SST to ensure compliance with legal and corporate norms. Identify, evaluate, and notify operational risks through periodic inspections and workplace safety assessments. * Supervise routine and non\-routine terminal operations to ensure safe conditions. Active participation in work permits review, risk assessment methodologies (HAZOP/QRA), and managing safety indicators (KPIs). * Coordinate and document incident/accident investigations with the ARL, establishing corrective actions. Lead and train the emergency brigade, organize emergency drills, and manage environmental controls/waste systems. * Design, implement, and maintain the Port Facility Security Plan under the ISPS Code (PBIP). Manage physical security infrastructure, train security personnel, and coordinate protection parameters with vessel officers (SSO) and authorities. * Oversee the implementation, tracking, and quarterly review of the Strategic Road Safety Plan (PESV).
