* **Job Description**
Placement specialists use information on market practices, pricing, and underwriting policies to align clients’ insurance needs with appropriate coverage offered by insurers. They coordinate with advisors and account executives to evaluate and select the best insurance quotations for clients. With several years of experience, a Placement Analyst II continues developing as an individual contributor but can independently address problems and drive work forward, sometimes with guidance from senior team members.
* **Responsibilities**
Maintains internal documentation and communicates with internal clients.
Conducts analysis and evaluates clients’ insurance programs to deliver improved service.
Develops in-depth knowledge of insurance markets to better serve clients.
Supports more senior Placement colleagues during negotiations with insurers, ensuring and comparing proposals under close supervision.
Prepares proposal components for more senior Placement colleagues to win new business and opportunities.
* **Requirements**
Conversational English
2 years of insurance experience or insurance knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or related field
Analytical, proactive, and skilled at managing multiple internal and external stakeholders
