Learn more: www.xolit.com **Job Objective** Provide technical support and operational administration for the data infrastructure (SQL Server and MySQL). Responsible for ensuring operational continuity by supporting installation, configuration, monitoring, execution of maintenance plans, and implementation of backup and recovery strategies (Disaster Recovery) that underpin the company’s critical services. **Academic Requirements and Experience** * **Education:** Technician, Bachelor’s degree, or final-semester student in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields. * **Experience:** 1–3 years in database support, maintenance, and administration roles for relational databases. **Technical Knowledge** * **Database Engine Administration:** Installation, configuration, patching, and upgrading of SQL Server and MySQL instances. Storage management (transaction logs, tempdb, disk space). * **Operational Performance Tuning:** Monitoring server-level blocking, basic memory/parallelism configuration, table optimization, index management, statistics review, and identification of slow queries. * **Security and Auditing:** User and role management, permission assignment based on the principle of least privilege, and review of access audit logs. * **Backup & Recovery:** Configuration, execution, and periodic testing of backup and restore strategies, ensuring compliance with recovery objectives (RTO/RPO). **Employment Conditions** · Salary: To be agreed upon, based on experience and expertise · Contract type: Indefinite-term contract · Work modality: Remote work / Home office **Benefits You Can Expect** Complementary health plan for your well-being. 24 days of annual leave (15 days mandated by law + 6 additional days provided by the company + 1 birthday day off).
