Contributes to the reliability of financial reports **Job Description:** We are seeking an Accounting Analyst who actively participates in executing, controlling, and improving accounting processes, ensuring the quality, integrity, and timeliness of financial information. The role is responsible for supporting compliance with tax obligations and providing effective support during internal and external audits and reviews, thereby enhancing the reliability of reports and organizational decision-making. **Responsibilities:** 1\. Prepare, review, and record cash receipts, disbursements, checks, and other accounting supporting documents 2\. Support the accountant in reviewing import documentation for proper legalization and recording in the company’s accounting system 3\. Prepare, validate, and generate exogenous information according to deadlines and formats established by DIAN and SHD. 4\. Assist in preparing, reviewing, and filing national and district-level tax returns (VAT, withholding tax, ICA, etc.). 5\. Analyze, reconcile, and generate detailed reports for accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring effective portfolio control and follow-up. 6\. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconciliations of financial obligations. 7\. Record payroll and reconcile the contributions payroll and benefits against monthly accounting records. 8\. Reconcile purchases with DIAN’s Radian system. 9\. Accrue depreciation and record fixed asset acquisitions, ensuring monthly reconciliation with the Excel control ledger and the fixed assets module versus accounting records. 10\. Manage, control, reconcile, and record petty cash. 11\. Measure financial indicators, download accounting reports (taxes, expenses, sales), and present them to management. 12\. Monitor budget execution and perform monthly updates in the management system. 13\. Create, update, and verify customer and supplier information. 14\. Support the accountant in responding to audit requests from the statutory auditor. 15\. Manage, file, and organize all accounting documents and records. 16\. Request and issue withholding tax certificates to third parties. 17\. Understand and comply with the internal work regulations. 18\. Other tasks assigned by the accountant **Requirements:** Professional degree in Public Accounting. Minimum 3\-5 years of experience in this position. Knowledge of IFRS, Colombian tax regulations, and regulatory authorities.
