VACANCY IN MEDELLÍN: For a well-known company in the elevator and escalator sector, we are seeking a Project Leader – Vertical Transportation, preferably an Electromechanical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Civil Construction Technologist, with experience in managing technical projects—ideally in vertical transportation (not mandatory). The candidate will be responsible for leading new and modernized elevator installation projects, ensuring their proper execution according to the company’s established technical, regulatory, safety, and quality standards. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and supervising projects; managing schedules, work plans, and performance indicators; verifying compliance with applicable regulations (preferably NTC 5926-1); managing departmental documentation; preparing technical reports and progress updates; coordinating with suppliers, technicians, contractors, and internal teams; supervising on-site work; providing administrative support to the Operations department; participating in preventive maintenance routines; performing minor repairs when required; promoting continuous process improvement; and ensuring effective communication within the team. This profile requires competencies such as technical leadership, planning and organization, compliance orientation, analytical ability, problem-solving skills, effective communication, teamwork, and a focus on safety and quality.
