DESCRIPTION **Company:** Grupo Ortiz **Required experience:** 5 years **Job description:** Grupo Ortiz, a leading company in the construction and engineering sector, is seeking to incorporate a highly qualified professional for the position of Civil and/or Industrial Engineer. This role is essential for the successful execution of road infrastructure projects that meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability. **Responsibilities:** * Planning and control of daily activities together with the work team (production/laboratory technician/laboratory), per functional unit and per section. * Verify implementation of the PAC (Ortiz Colombia Quality Assurance Plan) and the PIME (Project Inspection, Measurement, and Testing Plan) for each section. * Ensure compliance with inspection point programs. * Prepare and track non-conformities, directing them to the responsible party. * Perform other functions assigned by the immediate supervisor, delegated tasks, and those inherent to the department’s scope of work. * Deliver training to all personnel involved in construction activities, supported by the Group’s quality system and tools such as PPI PAC. * Respond to quality-related requirements from the client. * Maintain an organized record of quality-related information (test results, characterizations, certifications, material certificates), properly archived by month and linked to project execution. * Guarantee compliance with the PAC and the PIME, and effectively respond to internal or external audits conducted within the scope of this activity. **Requirements:** * Professional degree: Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering * Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard (diplomas, courses, or specialization) * Knowledge of technical and documentary quality management * Familiarity with INVIAS Technical Specifications 2013 and/or 2022 * Office software proficiency, advanced Excel * Over 3 years’ experience implementing quality systems in road infrastructure and/or related companies **We offer:** * A dynamic and multidisciplinary work environment within a company with a long-standing reputation and extensive track record in the construction industry. * Opportunities for professional development and continuous training, aligned with our quality and safety policies. * A competitive salary package and additional benefits to be discussed during the selection process.
