In **2024**, Sika’s approximately **33,000 employees** generated annual sales of **11,760 million Swiss francs (CHF)**. **Job Description** **OBJECTIVE** Support production, loading, and monitoring processes in accordance with Sika’s established standards, delivering finished products of the highest quality and efficiency within industrial safety parameters, while meeting the production targets of the Tocancipá plant. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Perform manufacturing operations on production lines according to technical and operational instructions. * Interpret formulations and recipes, carrying out dissolution, mixing, filtration, and weighing of raw materials. * Monitor and adjust critical process variables (temperature, pressure, time, and flow rates) to ensure product quality. * Operate and ensure proper functioning of equipment such as reactors, filters, pumping systems, and material transfer systems. * Manage raw materials and inventory, including weighing, consumption against production orders, returns, and rotation based on expiration dates. * Conduct sampling and record production data to ensure traceability and support laboratory analysis. * Promptly report equipment failures, deviations, or anomalies in the production process. * Comply with and promote industrial safety standards, workplace order and discipline (5S), ensuring appropriate working conditions. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and proper use of equipment, machinery, and work areas. * Support complementary production activities, including raw material grinding and safe forklift operation. **Requirements** **EDUCATION** High school diploma. **SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE** * Knowledge of the 5S program. * Monitoring of plant-specific key performance indicators. * Implementation of recycling programs and industrial safety and hygiene programs. * Practical knowledge of emergency drill development and Brigade team exercises. * Emergency response and spill management. * Selection and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). **RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE** Minimum one year and six months of experience in production areas. **COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS** * Ability to follow instructions, maintain order, and practice cleanliness. * Strong interpersonal skills. * Proactivity and initiative. * Communication skills and ability to follow instructions. * Proper handling of resources and personal protective equipment (PPE). **Additional Information** We are *Building Trust* every day; therefore, our commitment is to equal opportunity, where the selection process focuses on individuals and their capabilities, merits, and achievements.
