Position Objective** To perform precise technical layout of metalworking parts for the manufacture of ductwork, extraction hoods, structures, and components for industrial kitchens, ensuring dimensional accuracy, optimal material utilization, and compliance with quality, safety, and production schedule standards. **3. Key Responsibilities** * Interpret technical drawings, isometric drawings, and production orders for extraction systems and industrial kitchens. * Perform layout on galvanized sheet metal, stainless steel, and other metalworking materials. * Mark cuts, bends, perforations, and assembly points according to technical specifications. * Verify dimensions, angles, radii, and tolerances prior to cutting and folding processes. * Optimize material usage to reduce waste and rework. * Coordinate with cutting, bending, welding, and assembly departments to ensure correct manufacturing. * Identify inconsistencies in drawings and promptly report them to the immediate supervisor. * Support process standardization and improvements in layout and manufacturing. * Strictly comply with industrial safety regulations and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). **4. Position Requirements Education** * Technical high school diploma or technical degree in Metalworking, Metal Construction, Industrial Design, Industrial Mechanics, or related fields. * Preferred training in blueprint reading, metrology, or ductwork fabrication. **Experience** * Minimum **1–2 years** of experience as a metalworking tracer, preferably in ductwork, extraction hoods, or industrial kitchen fabrication. **Technical Knowledge** * Reading and interpretation of mechanical and isometric drawings. * Metrology and use of measuring instruments (tape measure, square, caliper, protractor, compass). * Knowledge of cutting, bending, and welding processes. * Types of steel (stainless, galvanized) and sheet metal handling. * Basic industrial safety standards for metalworking workshops. **5.
