The educational institution requires a cafeteria coordinator to effectively manage and supervise school cafeteria operations, ensuring the provision of high-quality food, promoting healthy nutrition practices, and guaranteeing a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.
1\. Define monthly lunch and afternoon snack menus and submit them for publication.
2\. Select and evaluate suppliers based on sanitary requirements, quality, and price competitiveness.
3\. Place orders with various suppliers.
4\. Participate in the selection process of personnel under direct supervision.
5\. Maintain necessary supplies for the daily operation of the cafeteria and dining area.
6\. Assign responsibilities to the work team.
7\. Conduct inventory and select work tools.
8\. Record daily attendance of students enrolled in the service and update the absenteeism Drive folder according to reports from parents/guardians.
9\. Take daily temperature readings of food before releasing it onto the service line.
10\. Verify food labeling.
11\. Verify completion of checklists (refrigerator temperature, food temperature, stove and refrigerator cleaning, general cleaning, uniforms).
12\. Report incidents requiring credit memos to the administrative coordination team weekly.
13\. Update the AZ of standard recipes for kitchen staff.
14\. Annually evaluate lunch and cafeteria product prices with management.
15\. Manage student enrollment in the cafeteria and snack service through service provision contracts.
16\. Submit to the treasury department a list of students using the cafeteria service, along with any service-related updates.
17\. Send billing and service suspension notices.
18\. Update technical specification forms as requested by the Department of Health.
19\. Perform daily cash counts and close the cash registers at both sales points and the school’s vending machines for submission to the treasury department.
20\. Maintain inventory of all products offered at sales points and vending machines.
21\. Address parent/guardian inquiries regarding the snack and cafeteria services.
22\. Oversee break-time service for daily cash register recording and control.
