Job Summary: Captiva is seeking a strategic and hands-on AI Lead to lead the use of artificial intelligence and data, driving improvements across all departments and keeping the company at the forefront of AI. Captiva seeks an AI Lead who will join our IT department and lead how artificial intelligence and data drive our business forward. This is a strategic and hands-on role: you will keep Captiva at the leading edge of AI, identify where these technologies generate real value, and implement improvements across all departments. We recognize this is a rapidly evolving field, so we seek someone with genuine mastery of the technology, comfortable with continuous change, and capable of turning emerging tools into practical results for the company. **Responsibilities** * Lead the end-to-end development of AI models, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment on scalable platforms. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration into business processes and product offerings. * **Own the AI roadmap.** Define and drive Captiva's AI and data strategy, aligning it with corporate objectives and keeping leadership informed of relevant progress. * **Implement AI solutions.** Identify, evaluate, and deploy AI tools and workflows that enhance efficiency and productivity across all departments. * **Modernize our data.** Strengthen how we collect, manage, and use data—improving data quality, governance, and the technical foundations supporting analytics and AI. * **Stay current.** Closely monitor the AI landscape and continuously incorporate verified new capabilities to ensure Captiva remains at the forefront. * **Empower teams.** Work alongside the IT team and department heads to embed AI into daily operations and train staff on using new tools. * **Promote responsible use.** Ensure responsible, secure, and compliant use of AI and data across the organization. **Competencies** * Must speak English and Spanish. * Experience implementing AI in an industry or company of comparable scale. * Knowledge of data privacy frameworks and AI governance. * A professional network in the AI space that helps Captiva gain early access to tools, talent, and best practices.
