About the Position We seek an **Engineer** to join our technical and laboratory team, participating in projects related to **hydrology, hydraulics, modeling, and water resources management**. We seek a candidate with solid technical knowledge, ability to combine **office-based and field work**, willingness to travel, and genuine interest in professional development within this sector. Main Responsibilities * Participate in technical projects and activities related to hydrology and hydraulics. * Support and develop activities related to **hydraulic modeling**. * Participate in field activities, measurements, and data collection. * Analyze and organize technical information for project development. * Monitor procurement opportunities and contracting processes in the sector. * Periodically review **public procurement offerings and contracting opportunities** related to the company’s services. * Support the preparation and review of reports, documents, and technical deliverables. * Collaborate closely with the technical and laboratory team. * Participate in projects requiring travel outside Medellín. * Comply with organizational technical procedures and quality standards. Education Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: * Sanitary Engineering * Environmental Engineering * Chemical Engineering * Civil Engineering * Industrial Engineering * Environmental Management * Other disciplines aligned with the profile and organizational mission Experience **2 to 3 years of experience** in positions or projects related to this profile. Experience in the following areas will be especially valued: * Hydraulic modeling. * Projects related to water resources. * Field work. * Consulting or hydrological and hydraulic studies. * Environmental or engineering sectors. Technical Knowledge We seek a candidate with: * **Advanced Excel proficiency.** * Knowledge or experience in **hydraulic modeling**. * Knowledge related to hydrology and hydraulics. * Ability to analyze technical information. * Familiarity with the water resources sector. * Ability to search for and monitor public procurement processes. * Postgraduate education in **water resources** or related fields is desirable. Familiarity with tools, methodologies, or specialized software for hydraulic modeling will be evaluated according to the candidate’s experience. Availability and Conditions * **Salary:** $4\.000\.000 – $5\.000\.000 per month, commensurate with profile and experience. * **Contract:** Fixed-term. * **Modality:** Hybrid, with possibility of **2 remote workdays**. * **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including one hour for lunch. * **Location:** Medellín. * **Field work:** Yes. * **Willingness to travel:** Mandatory. * **Travel requirements:** Availability to travel outside Medellín as required by projects. * **Supervisory responsibility:** No. * **Expected start date:** Early September.
