Job Summary: We are seeking a Conventional Lathe Operator with experience in producing high-precision mechanical parts, proficient in parallel lathes, milling machines, and interpreting manufacturing drawings. Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings for parts We are seeking a Conventional Lathe Operator with experience in producing high-precision mechanical parts. The ideal candidate must be proficient in operating conventional parallel lathes and milling machines, as well as interpreting manufacturing drawings. Responsibilities include setting up machining operations, determining cutting parameters for materials to be turned or milled, preparing machines, performing turning and milling operations, and applying dimensional control. Experience in machining, knowledge of materials, measurement skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are required. Capable of interpreting manufacturing drawings for mechanical parts, identifying materials, shapes, dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes. Responsibilities: \-Prepare raw materials for processing; secure and assemble machine components prior to commencing work using mechanical tools or by hand. \-Prepare tools and machines to cut and polish metal or similar materials into parts or products with precise dimensions. \-Operate and monitor conventional machines and tools for metalworking in repetitive operations such as cutting, turning, milling, polishing, drilling, sharpening, and others, according to specified dimensions and finishes. \-Operate and monitor presses or other machines to perform cold or hot forging, drawing, bending, molding, cutting, folding, and stamping, and execute other operations to shape metal. \-Operate and monitor machines, tools, and furnaces for melting, molding, and casting ferrous and non-ferrous metals to produce parts and products. \-Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments according to technical specifications.
